Gardaí Seize €350,000 Of Suspected Cannabis In Togher, Cork City

Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit, supported by other local and regional units, carried out an operation in Togher, Cork city, on Monday night, 5 October 2026, targeting the sale and supply of drugs.

A search of a domestic residence under warrant led to the seizure of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of €350,000. The substances have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Two men in their 20s were arrested and taken to Garda stations in Cork city. They have since been charged and are due to appear before Cork District Court at 10:30am on Wednesday, 7 October 2026. Investigations are ongoing.
