Man Beaten With Iron Bars

A gang armed with iron bars has attacked a man in the Moss Side area of Coleraine.

The man in his 60's was attacked after he answered a knock at the door at 8.50pm on Saturday evening.

Beaten about the body and legs, he was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

A motive for the attack has not been established.

Police have appealed for information.

Man Seriously Attacked In Co Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously attacked in County Limerick on Monday. The incident occurred in Newcastle West at around 2.15am. The man suffered a serious head injury and is currently being treated in hospital. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Two Arrested In Cabra Death Investigation
Gardaí investigating the death of a 21-year-old man found outside a pub in the early hours of Tuesday morning have arrested two men. Jason Saunders, of Fassaugh Avenue, was found outside the Cabra House pub suffering serious head injuries at about 7:30am on Tuesday.

Man Attacked In Dublin
A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in Dublin on Sunday night. The 29-year-old man was taken to the Beaumount Hospital following the attack which happened on Glin Road, Coolock. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
