Garda Appeal For Information On Alleged Rape In Dublin City Centre

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following the alleged rape of a woman in Dublin in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 11 December.

According to garda a woman went to a south Dublin garda station to report begin attacked sometime between midnight and 2am this morning. It is understood that the woman had bee socialising with a group of friends in Dublin city centre before returning to a hotel.

The woman is being treated at the Sexual Assault Treatment unit at the Rotunda Hospital.

The case was then taken over by gardaí at Pearse Street as the alleged attack took place in the city centre.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with any information about the alleged attack is asked to contact garda.

Gardaí Investigate Alleged Sex Assault In Dublin
Gardaí have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault on a woman in west Dublin in the early hours of Friday morning. It is understood that Gardaí were called around 4:30am by a man who found a woman on the Baldonnell Road who said that she had been sexually assaulted.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
