Manhunt Ongoing Following Violent Robbery In Limerick

Gardaí in Limerick have appealed for information following a violent robbery last week in Ballinhowen, near Kilmallock.

It is understood that up to three men entered the home of an elderly man at about 11pm on Thursday, 25 August, holding him hostage while the ransacked his home.

A number of items including a shotgun, a mobile phone and sum of money, were stolen, during the robbery.

Gardaí said the men wore balaclavas and head torches during the attack and have no description of the men, but anyone who has any information, or may have witnessed anything suspicious, is urged to contact Bruff Garda Station.

Men Sought Over Attempted Armed Bank Robbery
Gardaí have appealed for information about an attempted armed robbery of a bank in Dunboyne, Co Meath on Tuesday morning. It is understood that two masked men, believed to have been carrying firearms, entered a Bank of Ireland branch through its roof shortly after 9am. Firearm Found Following Cork Robbery
Gardai have discovered a firearm following a robbery at a house in Cork. The shotgun was found in a field near the home of a businessman at Gluntahaune during searches on Monday. Five men have been arrested and are currently being detained in custody. The weapon has been sent for forensic examination.

Gardaí Appeal For Information Following Serious Assault
Gardaí in Dublin have issued an appeal for information following an attempted robbery and a serious assault of a man at a newsagents in Finglas. At approximately 8.15am on Saturday 18 March, two men entered the newsagents on Fitzmaurice Road and assaulted a male member of staff.

Three Men Arrested In Connection With Post Office Raid Released Without Charge
Three men arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of a Dublin post office have been released without charge. It is understood three masked suspects armed with knives, a crowbar and other implements entered the building on Leonard's Corner at around 12:30pm yesterday, 03 December.

Gardaí Appeal For Information After Armed Post Office Robbery
Gardaí have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at Dún Laoghaire post office in Dublin this morning. Two men entered the post office, armed with what is believed to have been handguns, around 10.25am. They threatened staff before making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
