Gardaí Appeal For Information After Armed Post Office Robbery

Gardaí have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at Dún Laoghaire post office in Dublin this morning.

Two men entered the post office, armed with what is believed to have been handguns, around 10.25am.

They threatened staff before making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the men made his getaway on foot, while the other escaped in a dark coloured car.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses who may have noticed anything suspicious before or after the robbery.

Gardaí in Co Donegal have launched an investigation after a post office in Ramelton was robbed. It is understood that the robbery was carried out by three men, who escaped with an undisclosed sum of money. The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

Garda Seek Four Men Over Armed Post Office Robbery
Gardaí are seeking four men in connection with an armed robbery of a post office in County Kerry. Two men, one carrying a pistol and the other a baseball bat, entered the Tarbet Post Office at about 16:00 on Tuesday and threatened staff while a third man stood blocking the door. There were no customers in the post office at the time.
