Garda Investigate Double Stabbing At House Party

An investigation have been launched after two men stabbed each other at a house party in north Dublin following a prank.

It is understood that garda attended the scene in Clonshaugh, after two ambulances were called for men with stab wounds.

According to a report by the Irish Independent, a 22-year-old man had woken up at the party to find a friend shaving off one of his eyebrows. The 22-year-old is said to have reacted violently to this, by getting a knife from the kitchen and stabbing his friend.

The stabbing victim, a 25-year-old man, is said to have also got a knife, and stabbed the first man.

Both men were treated in hospital but later released.

The Irish Independent said that no arrests have been made, and "sources" suggest that it is "highly unlikely" that a prosecution would be made as no complaints have been received about the incident.
