Man Dies After Co Meath Stabbing
A man has died in hospital after sustaining injuries in a knife attack in Co Meath just over a week ago.
The 33-year-old Brazilian man, was stabbed in the head at around 10.45pm in Duleek on July 29.
A Garda spokesperson said he had been involved in an argument with another man when he sustained the injuries.
An ambulance crew, who discovered the man, took him to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. He was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin for emergency surgery. However, he died yesterday afternoon.
A 17-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and charged with possession of a knife.

Man Dies In Fall At Sligo Hotel
Gardaí in Sligo have reported the death of a 28-year-old man after a fall from a railing on Quay Street. The man is thought to have been trying to access Sligo City Hotel at about 01:45 when he fell, sustaining serious head injuries. It is understood that a woman was also injured in the incident.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Dundalk on Thursday, 10 December. A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.

Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.
