Man Charged With Knife Attack On Dublin Woman
Gardaí have charged 48-year-old Denis Leahy in connection with a knife attack on a 46-year-old woman in Dublin on Tuesday morning.
Rose Kenny was stabbed in the throat, chest and stomach at about 8am on Tuesday and was attacked as she left her home at School Street flats.
She remains in intensive care at St James's Hospital.
Gardaí have confirmed that Mr Leahy, of no fixed abode, was arrested at around 9am on Wednesday morning and has since been charged with assault and causing serious harm.
According to reports he appeared before Cloverhill District Court via video link and has been remanded in custody until next week.

Man Injured In Gun Attack
A man, 21, has been shot in Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The attack happened at Slieve Bloom Park in Driminagh at around 5.10am. The man is being treated for injuries to his leg at St James' Hospital. Gardai are appealing to witnesses to contact them.

A man in his 20s is expected to appear in court, charged in connection with a serious assault that happened at Dorset Street, Dublin. On Sunday morning, at around 1.45am, Gardaí were called to the scene at an apartment at Kelly's Row. A man, aged in his 30s, was suffered serious injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.
