Body Found In Search For Missing Woman

Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body.

Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am.

An appeal was launched into her whereabouts.

Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.

Protesters Gather Outside Garda Station After Anti-Water Campaigners Arrested
A number of people gathered outside Coolock Garda Station in Dublin on Wednesday night to protest the arrest of three anti-water charge campaigners. It is understood that the three campaigners had been arrested on Wednesday afternoon while the Taoiseach Enda Kenny visited Santry. Mr Kenny was heckled as he arrived and left the scene.

Gardaí Hope To Identify Body Found At Rossaveal Harbour
Gardaí searching for a missing schoolteacher from Dublin have discovered a body in a car at Rossaveal Harbour yesterday. Family members of Rosanne Kenny, 42, who disappeared on New Years Eve, are travelling to Galway to help with the identification of a body, believed to be Ms Kenny's.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Body In Car Identified As Missing Teacher
The body which was found in a submerged car near Rossaveal Pier in Galway last week has been identified as that of a missing Dublin schoolteacher. Gardai have confirmed that the remains are those of 41-year-old Roseanne Kenny, from Kilmacud. Ms Kenny disappeared on New Year's Eve whilst on holiday in Connemara with her husband and brother.

Govt Urged To End Its Support Of Horse And Greyhound Racing Industry
The government has been urged to end its support of the horse and greyhound racing industry until "sufficient reform is implemented". Making the call, Sinn Fein spokesperson on Agriculture, Food and Marine expressed concern at the amount of public money being given to the industry.
