Three Arrests Following Armed Robbery In Cork
Three people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Cork.
Two masked men armed with knives stole a sum of cash at a petrol station on Leitrim Street at around 8.30pm on Thursday night.
The men made off from the scene in a car which was driven by another man and also had a female passenger.
Gardai later stopped a car and arrested two men and a woman.
A third man escaped on foot.
Knives, balaclavas and money were recovered from the car.

Three men have been arrested in connection with a suspected armed robbery at a shop in Bawnogue Shopping Centre, Clondalkin. Two masked men threatened shop staff with a suspected firearm and fled the scene with a sum of cash. When the suspects left they were seen going in the direction of the Lealand estate.

Three men have been arrested and a firearm has been recovered after an armed raid on a pharmacy on South Circular Road in Dublin. The incident took place at about 2pm on Monday. During the incident, three men, one armed with what appeared to be a handgun entered the pharmacy.

Trio In Court Over Armed Robbery
Three men are to appear in court facing charges of armed robbery on a post office in Dublin. The three will appear in court at 10.30am this morning, charged in connection with the attempted robbery at Finglas Post Office on the Monday. Two will appear at Blanchardstown District Court and one will appear at the Juvenile Court in Smithfield.

Two men have been arrested following an armed robbery in Co Laois on Tuesday night. Gardaí said two men carrying shotguns entered a filling station in Mountrath at around 10.10pm, and held up staff before getting away with an undisclosed sum of cash and quantity of "property".

Donegal Shooting Investigated
Gardaí in Donegal have launched an investigation after a man was shot in St Johnston on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at the man's home in Carrickmore Street around 9:30pm. Three armed and masked men burst into the house and attacked the man with what is believed to have been an air rifle.
