Two Arrested Over Aggravated Burglary
Two men have been arrested over an aggravated burglary in Dublin.
The incident happened at a property in Casana View, Howth, on 13 December 2013.
On that morning, four men, one of whom was armed with a nail bar, entered the house where a woman in her 40s and her eight-year-old daughter were inside.
The men threatened the mother and demanded money before escaping with a sum of cash and a car. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Howth village.
Two suspects, said to be aged 32 and 42, were detained in Dublin on Wednesday morning (30 April) and are being questioned at Clontarf Garda station.

Appeal For Witnesses To Early Morning Shooting In Dublin
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a shooting in Dublin this morning. According to garda a man was shot just after 9am on Thursday morning on Clonard Street. The victim has been taken to hospital but no details of his condition have been released. The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a technical examination.

Woman Charged Over Fatal Fire In Cork
A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal fire in Mallow, Cork, in March, 2013. Two men died in a fire at an apartment at Granary Court on 13 March, 2014. The woman was arrested on Monday and brought to Mallow Garda Station where she was charged.

Two Held In Robbery Probe
There has been swift police action today after an attempted robbery at a post office in Co Dublin. Two men aged in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation. The gardaí probe followed an attempt to rob the post office in Bayside at about 9.30am on Friday morning.

Four Arrested Over Cash-In-Transit Robbery
Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a cash-in-transit van in Dublin in February. The four, all aged in their 20s, were detained this morning and will be questioned about the incident which occurred on at St Mary’s Place in Dublin 7 on the morning of February 1st.
