West Belfast Multiple Stabbing Probed
Four people - including a police officer - were stabbed in west Belfast overnight.
Police said that at around 10pm on Tuesday it was reported that a man was taken to hospital after being seen at Waterford Street, off the Falls Road, with a stab wound to his neck. Another man suffered serious stab wounds and was taken to hospital.
A woman was also stabbed in the neck and a male police officer was stabbed in the left arm.
One man has been arrested after the incident and the PSNI said inital enquiries suggest the stabbings followed a disturbance in a bar close to the junction of the Falls Road and Waterford Street. It is believed at least one of the assaults took place in the bar.
Police said the man who was arrested was in his 50s. They said he was not one of the people injured.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Stabbing In Limerick
A man has been stabbed in Limerick. The 21-year-old was found, suffering from a stab wound to the stomach, in Clarina Park in Ballincurra Weston, just after 1am on Wednesday morning. Gardaí said that the man was critically wounded in the attack, but was taken to hospital where he is now reported to be in a stable condition.

Three Separate Stabbing Incidents Over Weekend
One man has died and two have been seriously injured during a spate of stabbings over the weekend. A man in his 40s died in Tallaght Hospital following an incident at a bar in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin. He had been taken to the hospital with what appeared to be a stab wound to the body.

Shock Clonmel Stab Death: Man Held
A woman has died and a man injured in a double stabbing in rural Co Tipperary. Gardaí from Cahir were called to a cottage at Ballynamuddagh near Grange in Clonmel at around 12.30am on Tuesday morning. A woman was found with serious injuries and taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
