Woman Killed In Cavan Crash
A woman has been killed in a traffic collision in Co Cavan.
It happened on Monday morning and saw the 64-year-old woman fatally injured when the car she was driving lost control and overturned into a deep drain at the side of the road. She was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí at Bailieboro are investigating the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that was discovered at 10.30am on Monday morning on the Mullagh to Crossreagh Road.
The road was closed for a time to allow the scene to be examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardai wish to make a witness appeal to any member of the public that travelled this road between midnight and 4am on the 15.06.09 and may be in a position to assist, to contact Bailieboro Garda Station 042 – 9694570, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 – 666 -111, or any Garda Station.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

A man has been killed in a two vehicle road crash that occurred between Parkanna Cross Rd and Davis Cross on the Blarney to Bweeng Road at approximately 11.30am on Tuesday. The man in his 20's was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
