Two Women Killed In Collision In Donegal
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal single road traffic collision in Ballybofey, Co Donegal.
The incident occurred on the R252, Glenfin Road at around 4.15pm on Wednesday, 21 September.
Two women, aged 19 and 38, were killed when the car they were travelling in left the road, collided with a pole and came to a stop in a parking area for trucks.
The 19-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The second woman was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
A man, aged in his 40's, who was also travelling in the car, suffered non life threatening injuries and was also taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
The scene was preserved to allow for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

A driver has been killed after her car was in collision with an articulated truck. Gardaí are investigating the fatal road traffic collision on the N24 about 2km from Kilsheelan in Coounty Tipperary, at about 9.50pm yesterday. The woman, who is in her 20s, was killed when the car she was driving was in collision with an articulated truck.

The driver of the car was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, however he later died from his injuries. A passenger in the vehicle is currently being treated in hospital.
