Court Appearance On Bray Drugs Charges
A man is to appear in the Bridewell Courts this Morning in connection with the drug seizure in Bray on Wednesday.
He faces charges after the gardaí seized a quantity of drugs following the operation in Co Wicklow.
The operation was carried out by the Drugs Unit attached to Bray Garda Station assisted by the local Detective Unit & Garda Task Force.
They said that, at 7.30pm an open area was searched and a quantity of drugs seized.
The approximate value of the drugs seized - identified as cocaine and ecstasy - was thought to be about €450,000.
They arrested a man in his 30s who was initially detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act which provides for a maximun detention period of seven days.

A search of a Dublin address yesterday evening led to the arrest of a man and recovered a cache of cannabis worth nearly €200,000. According to Gardaí this morning, the find is part of an on-going investigation carried out by members of the Crime Task Force attached to the Bridewell Garda Station in Dublin.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a major drug seizure in Dublin that led to the discovery of an estimated €500,000 worth of various drugs. In a statement released this morning, Gardai said they had seized the drugs and arrested the two males following an intelligence lead operation in Dublin yesterday.

Over €1M Cannabis Seized In Dublin
Over €1M worth of cannabis has been seized in two separate drug finds in Dublin over the weekend. In the latest incident, Gardai seized a quantity of Herbal Cannabis and arrested a woman in her 40's on Sunday night after an operation by detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit, Pearse Street Drugs Unit and Revenue Customs Service.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A 37-year-old man has been arrested after Gardai discovered what is believed to be 15 kilos of heroin at a house in Lucan yesterday evening. It is believed to have a street value of €2.25million. The man is being detained at Clondalklin Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
