Two Arrested Over O'Halloran Murder

Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Dublin man Stephen O'Halloran in January.

Gardai investigating the incident arrested two men in the Tallaght area on Tuesday.

The two men are aged 25 years and 19 years and have both been detained at Tallaght Garda Station.

Mr O'Halloran was killed during a shooting at Kilmartin Drive in Tallaght, Dublin 24, shortly before midnight on the 19th of January. Gardai on patrol in the area responded to what appeared to be gunshots and discovered the body of the 20-year-old man in a car in the driveway of a house.

Mr O'Halloran had sustained injuries to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Steve O'Halloran in Tallaght last month. Gardaí made the arrest of the 18-year-old suspect last night.

Another Arrested As One Is Released In O'Halloran Investigation
A third man has been arrested by gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of Stephen O' Halloran. He is 19 years old and is presently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act. The arrest was made in the Tallaght area on Thursday.

Man Arrested In Connection With Abduction And Assault Of Kevin Lunney
Gardaí investigating the abduction and assault of Kevin Lunney have made another arrest. The man, aged in his 50s, is currently detained in Cavan Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007. Mr Lunney, a director of Quinn Industrial Holdings was abducted and subjected to a prolonged attack in September 2019.
