Man Arrested Over Murder Of Michael Devoy

Gardai have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy.

The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014.

A man in his mid-20s is being held at Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.

Man Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Michael Devoy Released
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy has been released without charge. The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014. A man in his 20s was being questioned by officers at Tallaght Garda Station. He has since been released. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Man Arrested In Michael Devoy Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Michael Devoy in January this year have arrested a man in his early 20s. A routine garda patrol in the Bohernabreena area of Tallaght, found the body of Mr Devoy on 18 January. He had been shot dead. Garda have confirmed they have arrested a man in his early 20s in connection with the murder.

Injured Man Thought To Be Missing Developer Kevin Michael McGeever
Garda have launched an investigation following the discovery of an injured man near Ballinamore, Co Leitrim on Tuesday night. It is thought the man is Kevin Michael McGeever, who was reported missing by his partner in Gort, Co Galway last June. He was found, injured and without shoes, by a couple in Ballinamore.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
