Young Man Arrested After Huge Heroin Find
A 20 year-old man is currently being detained by gardaí following a significant drug find at house in Dublin.
In the course of the search on the property in St Mark's Grove, Clondalkin, Dublin, Gardai recovered approximately 1Kg of Heroin with an estimated street value of €200,000, pending analysis.
Gardaí at the Ronanstown Station are holding the man under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
He was arrested at approximately 10.00am on Tuesday morning following the planned search shortly after 9.00pm.
A weighing scales and various drug paraphernalia were also recovered in the course of the search.

Gardaí Arrest 45 In Major Drugs Operation
A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and “crack” cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.

200 Cannabis Plants Found In Co Kerry
Cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of €160,000, were discovered by gardai in Rathmore, Co Kerry, last night. Officers from the Kanturk Drug Unit carried out a planned search of a house near the town, uncovering some 200 plants at various stages of growth. The scene has been sealed and a technical examination is underway.

Two Arrested Following Finglas Drug Find
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Dublin on Monday. Officers from Garda Drugs Unit carried out a planned search at a house in Ratoath Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11. During the search heroin worth an estimated street value of €40,000 was seized.
