Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted In Park
A 17-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted in Swords while walking through a park.
Gardai are appealing for information in relation to the serious assault, which took place at approx 2.40am on Sunday morning.
The girl was walking through The Jacko Recreational Park in the centre of Swords when she was attacked by a lone male. The man is described as being 18 to 19 years of age with dark hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black sweatshirt top with a full zip.
During the course of the attack the girl was sexually assaulted, and gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or may have information is asked to contact the Gardai at Swords.

Crimestoppers is offering €10,000 as a reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who seriously sexually assaulted a teenage girl in a north Dublin park earlier this month. The girl was attacked as she walked through the playground in Swords at around 2.40am on Sunday, August 3rd.

An investigation has been launched after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted outside her home in Crumlin, south Dublin. It is understood the girl was standing at her front door when she was grabbed by a man and dragged to the side of the house, where she was attacked. Garda searched the area after the incident was reported to them around 01.
