Teen Sexually Assaulted Outside Home

An investigation has been launched after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted outside her home in Crumlin, south Dublin.

It is understood the girl was standing at her front door when she was grabbed by a man and dragged to the side of the house, where she was attacked.

Garda searched the area after the incident was reported to them around 01.30 on Tuesday morning.

House-to-house inquiries were also carried out as garda try to establish a description of the attacker.

The victim was treated at the sexual assault unit at the Rotunda hospital.

Man Dies After Being Hit By Car In Co Dublin
A pedestrian has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in County Dublin. The serious collision occurred on the Whitestown Road in Rush at around lunchtime on Friday 07 June. The man, aged in his 30's, was rushed to Beaumont Hospital with critical injuries but passed away on Sunday 09. The driver of the car was uninjured.
