Young Boy In Critical Condition After Crash In County Clare
A six-year-old boy form Craughwell is in critical but stable condition in Beaumount Hospital in Dublin after he was injured in a car crash in County Clare yesterday.
The boy's mother also sustained injuries but is now in a stable condition at University Hospital Galway.
The accident happened on the Bellharbour Road at around 9am.
The two victims had to be cut from the wreckage of one of the cars. Two cars were involved in the crash.
No-one else is believed to have been hurt in the incident.

Boy, 6, 'Critical' Following Car Crash
A six-year-old boy remains in a 'critical condition' following a car crash in Co Clare, Gardaí have revealed. The young boy was travelling in the car with his mother when the accident took place just after 9am on the Ballyvaughan Road close to the village of Bellharbour.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Injured In Monaghon Car Crash
A man is in a critical condition after a two car crash in County Monaghon yesterday. The incident occurred on the N53 at Maghernakill at around 18.30 on Thursday. A man, in his teens, is currently at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The driver of the other car received minor injuries. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
