Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash

A man has been killed in a collision in Galway.

The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road.

The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Garda Appeal For Help Tracing Teenager Missing Since 08 October
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 17-year-old Oltjan Kurtulaj. The teenager has been missing from the Palmerstown area of Dublin 20 since Tuesday, 08 October. Oltjan is described as being approximately 6'5" with a slim build. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Galway Road Re-Opens Following Fatal Crash
Gardai have confirmed the Maam Cross to Galway road has now reopened at Ballinahown, after a fatal crash occurred overnight. A male pedestrian in his 60s was killed after he was hit by a car. Witnesses are being asked to contact gardai in Salthill.
