Man Killed And Three In Critical Condition Following Car Crashes
A man has died and three people remain in a critical condition following two car crashes in County Carlow and County Mayo.
A man, 42, died in a single car accident on the Tullow to Castledermot Road at around 4pm yesterday.
Two men in their 20's and a 16-year-old girl were involved in a three-car accident on the Kilkeely to Knock Road yesterday evening.
The drivers injuries of the other two cars are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Galway Accident
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.
