Dublin Canal Body Has Head Injuries
The body of a man has been found near the Grand Canal in Dublin.
The body was found shortly before 8am on Monday morning, on the banks of the canal between Kylemore Road and the Naas Road.
According to reports, the man, who is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, appeared to have suffered head injuries, with some reports indicating that he may have been shot in the head.
The dead man has not yet been identified, but reports have said that he had been living and working in the Bluebell area.
The body has been taken from the scene in order for a post-mortem to be carried out.
Gardaí have launched an investigation and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination. The State Pathologist's Office has also been informed.

Body Discovered At House In Waterford
Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man's body was found at a house in Waterford last night. The remains of the 30-year-old were discovered at the house in Bishopsfield, Williamstown at about 10pm. A Garda spokesman said the scene had been preserved, and the body remains at scene awaiting the arrival of the State pathologist.
