Woman's Body Found In Dublin Street

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in Blanchardstown this morning.

According to garda the body of a woman thought to be in her 20s was found in the vicinity of a house in Warrenstown Walk in Blanchardstown, Dublin, on Wednesday morning at around 08:40.

Early reports suggest that the woman may have suffered head injuries.

Gardaí have launched an investigation and a post-mortem examination is expected to be carried later today.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Woman's Body Discovered In Ennis
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in Ennis early today, Tuesday 04 February. The body was found at about 6am this morning by a passer-by on a walkway alongside the River Fergus. It is understood that garda do not believe the woman's death to be suspicious "at this stage".

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Killer Gets Life For Severely Beating Irish Woman
A man has been jailed for life for killing Irish woman Siobhan Kelly who lay dead in her London flat undiscovered for three weeks after he beat her to death. Stephen Foad, 42, denied murdering Miss Kelly, but three days into the trial he changed his plea. He was given a minimum term of 13 years.
