Galway Road Crash Kills Two

Two people have been killed in a road crash in Co Galway.

The crash, which involved two cars, happened on the Quincentennial Bridge around 8pm on Sunday.

A man in his 40s, who was the driver of one the cars, died at the scene, while a woman in her 30s, who was a back seat passenger in the other car, died later at University College Hospital.

Two other people in the same car as the woman were also taken to hospital for treatment.

Man Dies In Co Monaghan Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Monaghan, gardaí have reported. According to gardaí the man in his 20s died in a two-car collision on the N2 Dublin-Monaghan, south of Carrickmacross. It is understood the victim was the driver of the one of the cars involved in the accident.

Three Killed In Waterford Road Crash
Three men have died following a road traffic collision in Waterford. According to Gardaí, two cars collided on the N72 between the junctions with the N25 and the R672 at around 10am on Sunday, 04 December. It is understood six occupants of one of the cars were all taken to hospital by air.

Second Woman Dies In Westmeath Road Collision
A second woman has died after she sustained injuries in a road collision in Westmeath. The crash, between two cars and a truck, happened in Hiskinstown at around 3.30pm on Saturday, 08 October. A passenger in one of the cars died at the scene and the driver in one of the vehicles died from her injuries at Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.

Motorcyclist Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash
A motorcyclist has died in a three-vehicle collision in Co Donegal. At around 10.30pm on Thursday, the motorcyclist collided with two cars on the N13 at Lisfannon, Burt. The victim, said to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was later removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.
