Garda Appeal For Witnesses After Woman Dies In Collision

Gardaí in Co Meath have reported the death of a woman in a two-car collision on Thursday evening.

According to garda the woman, aged in her 60s, sustained serious leg injuries in the collision, which happened on the Athboy Road at about 18:50.

The woman, who had been driving one of the two cars involved in the crash,

died in the early hours of Friday morning at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

The driver of the second was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone with information on the incident to contact Trim Garda Station on 046-9481540.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses After Cyclist Is Hit By Bus
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.

Body Of A Woman Discovered At House In Co Donegal
An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Killygordon, Co Donegal. The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January. A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.
