Man Dies In Co Monaghan Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Monaghan, gardaí have reported.
According to gardaí the man in his 20s died in a two-car collision on the N2 Dublin-Monaghan, south of Carrickmacross.
It is understood the victim was the driver of the one of the cars involved in the accident.
Two occupants in the other vehicle are being trearted at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. The extent of their injuries are unknown.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Dundalk on Thursday, 10 December. A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

18-Year-Old Killed In Co Tipperary Road Crash
Gardaí have reported that an 18-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Tipperary. The crash happened at about 21:00 on Sunday night at Junction 22 near Roscrea, on the M7. The 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem is to be carried out at University Hospital Limerick.
