Model Seriously Ill Following Weekend Collapse

Model Katy French remains in a serious condition in hospital after she collapsed at a house in Co Meath on Sunday.

Ms French was taken to hospital after collapsing a friend's house in Ashbourne in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The cause of the 24-year-old's illness is not known, although it has been reported that friends claimed that she recently suffered a kidney infection.

A spokesperson for Our Lady's Hospital in Navan has confirmed that she remains in a serious condition.

According to reports, Ms French has not regained consciousness and family members are believed to be at her bedside.

Last Thursday, Ms French celebrated her 24th birthday with a party at Krystle nightclub in Dublin.

Ms French recently boosted her profile with her appearance on RTÉ's 'Celebrities Go Wild' programme.

More Arrests In Sinanapayen Inquiry
Three more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Frenchman Charles Sinanapayen in Bray, Co Wicklow. Two men and a woman in their 20s were detained in the Bray area this morning. Two other men were arrested over the weekend and the five are being questioned at Bray Garda Station.

Man Seriously Injured In Dublin Shooting
A man is being treated in hospital after receiving serious injures in a shooting attack in Cabra, Dublin. The incident happened on the Killala Road at around 7.30pm on Sunday. The 54-year-old victim, who is known to gardaí, was shot a number of times when he was walking his dog. He is in a serious condition at the Mater Hospital.

Garda Appeal For Information After Man Found Seriously Injured
An investigation has been launched after a man was found seriously injured in Dublin on Thursday night. Gardaí have said that the man, who is in his mid-40s, was found at around 21:25 on Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore, Dublin 8. He is being treated at St James Hospital and his condition is described as critical.
