Model Still Seriously Ill
Model Katy French is still in a serious condition in hospital, following her collapse at a house in Co Meath on Sunday.
Ms French, who turned 24 last week, was taken to hospital after collapsing at a party at a friend's house in Ashbourne in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She is being treated at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan and it is understood that she has not regained consciousness since being admitted. Family and friends are keeping a vigil at her bedside.
It has been reported that the model has suffered a series of heart attacks.
Speaking on Wednesday morning, a spokesperson for the Health Service Executive said: "The HSE would like to confirm that Katy French remains seriously ill."
The cause of the model's illness is not known and neither the HSE nor the hospital will confirm the nature of the illness.
According to reports, Ms French had admitted taking cocaine from the age of 19, but said that she had given up the drug and had highlighted the dangers of taking it.
Last Thursday, Ms French celebrated her 24th birthday with a party at Krystle nightclub in Dublin.
A friend of Ms French, Sara Kavanagh, a fellow model who works for the same agency, attended the party and told reporters that there were no signs of any drug-taking at the party.
Ms French recently boosted her profile with an appearance on RTÉ's 'Celebrities Go Wild' programme.

Katy French's Funeral Due To Take Place
The funeral of model Katy French is due to take place in Co. Wicklow later today. Ms French, 24, died in hospital last Thursday after collapsing at a friend's house in Ashbourne, Co Meath earlier in the week. The model's funeral will take place at St Patrick's Church in Powerscourt in Enniskerry at 2pm. She will be buried in the adjoining cemetery.

More Arrests In Sinanapayen Inquiry
Three more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Frenchman Charles Sinanapayen in Bray, Co Wicklow. Two men and a woman in their 20s were detained in the Bray area this morning. Two other men were arrested over the weekend and the five are being questioned at Bray Garda Station.

A 23-year-old man will appear before Arklow District Court this morning in relation to the shooting dead last month of French national Charles Sinanapayen in Bray, Co Wicklow. Mr Sinanapayen, 32, was shot in the head on May 29th last at the apartment he shared with his partner in Richmond Hill, Fassaroe.
