Three Arrested Over Dublin Shooting

Three men have been arrested following a shooting in Dublin on Sunday.

The shooting happened in the Finglas area of the city in the early hours of the morning. It is believed to have been sparked by two men allegedly trying to steal motorcycles from a house.

During an altercation with the occupants of the house, one of the men involved is reported to have produced a gun and fired up to three shots. However, no-one was injured.

Three men, all in their twenties, were arrested shortly afterwards.

Gardaí recovered a firearm in a follow-up operation.

Woman Released In Longford Murder Investigation
The woman being held by Gardaí in connection with the death of Sharon Coughlan, has been released without charge. Gardaí in Co Longford arrested three people yesterday. Two men, aged 19 and 28, were still in custody this morning. It is understood their period of detention has been extended.

Three Men Arrested After County Kildare Shooting Incident
Three men have been arrested in connection with a firearms incident in Co Kildare on Monday night, 06 November. At approximately 9.30pm last night, Gardaí observed a black Audi estate car with a partial registration number 151 G driving at speed through Monasterevin over the draw bridge, Main Street and on towards the Kildare Road.

Three Men Arrested In Connection With 2015 Castletroy Shooting
Three men have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident in Castleroy, Co Limerick, on 29 June, 2015. A 55-year-old man was shot a number of times as he parked his car in the grounds of the University of Limerick. Two men, aged in their 30s, were arrested early on Wednesday morning in the Limerick area.

Three Charged In Connection With Fatal Shooting In Murroe
Three men have appeared before a special sitting of Limerick District Court charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Murroe last weekend. The men, aged 49, 48 and 25, were arrested after a 51-year-old man was killed in a shooting at Mountfune, Murroe, Co Limerick, on Saturday, 20 June.
