Three Charged In Connection With Fatal Shooting In Murroe
Three men have appeared before a special sitting of Limerick District Court charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Murroe last weekend.
The men, aged 49, 48 and 25, were arrested after a 51-year-old man was killed in a shooting at Mountfune, Murroe, Co Limerick, on Saturday, 20 June.
Two other men, aged in their late 40’s, arrested in connection with this investigation have been released from custody without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A 55-year-old man was shot a number of times as he parked his car in the grounds of the University of Limerick. Gardaí investigating a shooting in Drogheda, County Louth in February have arrested four men. The two 23-year-olds and two others aged 27 and 49 were detained after a number of searches. A man in his 30s was shot at the M1 Retail Park on Tuesday 26 February and was later treated in hospital.

The victim was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds on the road of a laneway off the N81 at Crooksling, according to gardai.
