Operation Thor: Two Men Charged Over Dublin East Burglaries
Gardaí have arrested two men as part of Operation Thor and an ongoing investigation into a series of thefts and burglaries targeting premises in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR) East.
The men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were detained on Monday, 7 September 2026, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the Dublin region. Both have since been charged and are expected to appear before Dun Laoghaire District Court this morning, Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at approximately 10.30am.
Investigations are ongoing.
