Man Seriously Injured In Clondalkin Shooting
An investigation has been launched following a shooting incident in Clondalkin.
A man, aged in his 20s, is being treated at Blanchardstown Hospital for serious but non life threatening injuries following a shooting at Shancastle Pk, at approximately 8.45pm on Tuesday December 17.
Garda have said that the man was approached by a lone gunman and shot a number of times. It's understood the gunman fled from the scene on foot.
The injured man was initially treated at the scene by Ambulance personnel before he was taken by Ambulance to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
The scene is currently preserved for examination by local scenes of crime officers. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

Woman's Body Found In County Laoise
Gardai are continuing with their investigations after the discovery of a woman's body in County Laoise. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found at a flat in Mountrath. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm on Friday. A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is detained at Portlaoise Garda Station.
