Man Detained In Connection With Major Heroin Seizure
A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of heroin, worth an estimated €700,000.
The seizure was made during the search of a house in Tallaght on the evening of Sunday, 14 July.
The man, in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.
He is expected to appear before a sitting of Tallaght District Court to face charges in connection with the case.
The seizure was made during the search of a house in Tallaght on the evening of Sunday, 14 July.

Gardaí in Tallaght have seized a quantity of cocaine and arrested a man in his 40's, in an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances. Officers from the Drugs Units of Dublin City Garda carried out a search at a house in Tallaght on Tuesday, 09 February.

Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

A man has been arrested in Dublin following the seizure of drugs and a firearm. At approximately 6.30pm on Thursday Gardai in Tallaght searched a car in the Jobstown area and recovered a sawn-off shot gun and ammunition as well as cannabis and heroin with a combined street value of €200,000.
