Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure

A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin.

He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning.

Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon.

The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

He is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda Station.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Men Arrested Over Cannabis Seizure
Gardaí in Co Longford have arrested two men in connection with cannabis herb worth an estimated €40,000. Officers seized the drugs during a search of a premises in Newtownforbes on Saturday night. Garda say that one of the men remains in custody and that their investigation is ongoing.
