Man Due In Court Over Cannabis Seizure
A 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin.
The man is due to appear before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with a seizure of cannabis herb in a planned search of premises at Russell Downs in Jobstown.
The search was carried out as part of an on-going operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Tallaght area. Gardaí seized cannabis herb with an estimated value of €220,000, pending analysis.
The man was arrested at the scene and detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.
