Woman Dies In Kildare Crash
A woman has died following a road collision in County Kildare.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the Rathangan Road in Allenwood South, Naas, at around 11pm on Sunday 17 February.
The driver, a 52-year-old woman, was the only person in the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was transferred to Naas General Hospital.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out today.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Naas Garda Station on 045-884-300.

A woman died in hospital on Monday, following a road crash in Co. Kildare earlier in the day. The 82-year-old was struck by a van in Newbridge around 12:30pm. She was taken to Naas Hospital for treatment, but died there later.

Woman Stabbed In Athy
A woman has been stabbed in Athy, Co Kildare. The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was stabbed just before noon, on Tuesday. She was taken to Naas General Hospital and was treated with minor injuries. Gardai have launched an investigation. No arrests have been made.

A man has died following a road collision in Galway. The incident happened at Glenascaul in Oranmore around 1:30pm on Thursday. It is understood that the car the man was travelling in collided with a tractor.

Four Women Killed In Co Kildare Crash
Four women have died in a road collision in County Kildare. Another woman was seriously injured in the crash and is currently being treated in Naas General Hospital. Three 19-year-old women and a 20-year-old were passengers in a car which crashed into a van near Athy just before 10pm on Tuesday night.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic accident in Blessington, Co Wicklow, at about 21:15 on Wednesday, 12 August. A 33-year-old male motorcyclist was fatally injured when he and a second motorcyclist collided with a jeep.
