Man Dies After Fall From Window At Mater Hospital
A man in his 50's has died after falling from a window at the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
The patient fell from the fourth floor.
The incident happened yesterday, Thursday 14 February, at around 12pm.
Gardaí are investigating.

A two-year-old boy died in hospital following a fall from an apartment window yesterday. Gardai investigating the incident have said they believe it to have been a tragic accident. The fall occurred at apartments in Inchicore in Dublin just after 10am.

The Protection of Life during Pregnancy Bill has been published by the government following approval by the Cabinet. Several significant changes have been made to the outline of the Bill, which was published in April. The Minister for Health will be given the power to stop suspended an institution if deemed to be operating the Act inappropriately.

Elderly Woman Dies After Falling From Window
An elderly woman has died following a fall from a fourth floor window at an apartment complex in central Dublin. It is believed the woman was cleaning her windows at Avondale House on North Cumberland Street. She was pronounced dead at Mater Hospital. No other information on the woman has yet been released.

A 22-month-old girl has died after falling from the window of a third-floor apartment in Finglas, Dublin. Gardaí have launched an investigation into the incident, which happened at around 9.30am on Sunday morning at Tolka Vale Apartments on Finglas Road.

Pensioner Dies After Window Fall
The funeral of an elderly widow who fell to her death from a second floor window is taking place this morning. Maura Looney died shortly after 7.30am on Friday when she fell onto external railings from the second floor of the Care Choice nursing home on the Middle Glanmire Road in Montenotte on the north side of Cork city.
