Garda Appeal For Information Following Fatal Shooting In Co Kildare
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a fatal shooting in Leixlip, Co Kildare on 15 November 2018.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of an incident outside a house at Glen Easton Way following a report of a shooting at about 9.15pm.
A man in his 40s was treated at the scene for serious injuries but was later pronounced dead.
The scene remains sealed off pending the arrival of Garda Crime Scene Examiners and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Glen Easton Estate this evening between 8.30pm and 9.30pm to contact them at Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.

Public Appeal After Third Confirmed Case Of Measles In Ireland
The Public Health Agency (PHA) has announced that it has been made aware of a third confirmed case of measles in the Republic of Ireland. It is understood that the case was confirmed in a resident of Ireland who had arrived back in the country from Abu Dhabi on Saturday 9 March 2024.

Woman's Body Found In County Laoise
Gardai are continuing with their investigations after the discovery of a woman's body in County Laoise. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found at a flat in Mountrath. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm on Friday. A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is detained at Portlaoise Garda Station.

At approximately 6.45am on Sunday 01 December, Gardaí were called to a flat on North Strand Road where members of Dublin Fire Brigade were treating a man in his 20s for an apparent gunshot wound.
