Gardaí Seize Cash And Vehicles In Dubliin

Gardaí have carried out a number of property searches in the Dublin West area.

As part of on-going investigations into recent organised criminal activity, officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau carried out property searches in the Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Lucan and Tallaght areas on Wednesday, 31 May.

During the course of the operation, cash totalling €18,000, two vehicles (a car & a van), three watches and a bolt action pellet gun were seized.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.

Man Arrested Over Ecstasy Seizure
Drugs worth almost €230,000 have been seized during planned searches in the Balgaddy area of Clondalkin. Gardaí from the Lucan/Ronanstown Drugs Unit carried out a planned search on Monday, 10 August just before 20:30. Ecstasy tablets with a value of €225,000 and prescription drugs, valued at €4,000, were seized.

Search Launched For Missing Men Off Waterford
Emergency services are scouring the coast of Waterford after two men were reported missing from the area yesterday afternoon. Air, sea and coastline searches are involved in the search for the two Tipperary men identified as John O'Brien and Pat Esmonde, both in their mid-30s.
