Searches Carried Out In Organised Crime Investigations
A number of search operations have been carried out across Counties Limerick, Clare and Tipperary by officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The searches are being conducted as part of ongoing investigations into the purchase of land, vehicles and other assets by organised criminal groups based in the region. The operation is being led by Bureau Officers assisted by members of the Regional Support Unit and local Gardaí.
Searches have been carried out in a number of locations including private residences and business premises. Documentation, mobile phones, devices and computer equipment have been seized.
There were no arrests planned during this phase of the investigation.

Garda Searches Underway In Waterford And Wexford

Cash, Rolex watches, mobile phones and a drone have been seized during searches in Dublin. The Criminal Assets Bureau carried out the searches in Rialto, Dún Laoghaire, Francis Street and other city centre locations on Wednesday, 10 January. In total, nine searches were conducted.

Three Arrested Following Cocaine Find
Three men have been arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Cobh, Co Cork. Revenue Customs officers and Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out a search of a premises in Cobh as part of an intelligence led operation. During the operation, cocaine worth an estimated value of €56,000 was seized.
