Cannabis Resin Seized At Rosslare Europort
Cannabis resin worth an estimated €380,000 has been seized by Revenue officers at Rosslare Europort.
Following routine profiling, the drugs were discovered in the floor and boot area of a car that had disembarked a ferry from France.
A 40-year-old Lithuanian man was arrested at the scene by An Garda Síochána and was brought to Wexford Garda Station for questioning.
Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.

Drugs worth an estimated €534,000 have been uncovered at Rosslare Europort, by a customs dog called Ralph. 2.7kg of heroin, 1.1kg of ecstasy, almost 1kg of cannabis resin and 0.2kg of LSD tablets were seized by revenue officers on Thursday night.

€1.2m Worth Of Cocaine Seized At Rosslare Europort
Cocaine worth an estimated €1.2 million has been seized by Revenue officers in Rosslare Europort. Officers stopped and searched an Irish registered truck after it was scanned as it disembarked a ferry. With the assistance of a detector dog, more than 17kgs of cocaine were discovered concealed in a side panel of the truck.

A man is being held by gardaí in Co Wexford following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €500,000. The drugs, some 30kg of cannabis, was discovered at Rosslare Europort on Sunday. A Revenue spokeswoman said the drugs had been concealed in the tyres of a vehicle, which was part of a container-load arriving on a ferry from France.

The cigarettes arrived from Cherbourg in a Lithuanian registered truck and were hidden inside a number of hot tubs.
