Three Fishermen Rescued In Co Cork

Three fishermen have been rescued from a sinking trawler in Co Cork.

The men were recovered from the water at Kinsale Harbour after their vessel began sinking at around 6pm on Sunday.

The Kinsale RNLI lifeboat attended the scene and rescued the Portuguese fishermen.

The crew were left shaken, however no injuries were reported.

Fishermen Rescued After Trawler Catches Fire Off Wicklow Coast
Three fishermen have been rescued after their trawler caught fire 30 miles off the coast of County Wicklow yesterday afternoon, Thursday 02 May. Lifeboat crews from Arkow and Wicklow RNLI responded to the emergency shortly before 4pm, evacuating the men from the 14-metre vessel.

Three Saved From Sinking Trawler
Three men have been rescued from a sinking trawler off the coast of Co Donegal. It happened around 6.30am on Tuesday morning. The vessel, the Shaun Shaun, a 50ft steel-hulled boat, was fishing for herring off Killybegs when it began to take on water.
