Garda Searches Underway In Waterford And Wexford

Gardaí and a number of associate organisations are carrying out a number of searches in Waterford and Wexford.

More than 80 garda officers are being assisted by the Criminal Assets Bureau, Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit, Garda Air Support and Officers from Revenue Custom and Excise.

It is understood that the searches are being carried out as part of a major intelligence-led investigation into organised criminal gangs.
