Search Ongoing For Armed Robber
Garda have appealed for information following the armed robbery of a shop in Rathfarnham on Thursday evening.
It is understood that a man entered a Centra Store on Main Street just after 17:00 and threatened staff with a handgun.
No one was injured in the incident but the man fled the scene with an undisclosed sum of money.
The Garda Air Support Unit helicopter searched the area for the suspect, but no arrests have yet been made.
Garda said their search is ongoing.

A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. Woman's Body Found In County Laoise
Gardai are continuing with their investigations after the discovery of a woman's body in County Laoise. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found at a flat in Mountrath. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm on Friday. A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is detained at Portlaoise Garda Station.

Major Search Underway For Armed Man In Dublin
A major search operation is on going in the Clondalkin and Tallaght area's following a number of armed incidents earlier today. Gardaí are searching for a man they believe to be armed and have urged the public not to approach him if they see him. It is understood that the man was last seen in the Clondalkin area at around 7am.

Gardaí are searching for an armed gang after a raid on a post office close to the Border yesterday. The raid took place at about 4pm in Bridgend, Co Donegal. Armed response units from the Police Service of Northern Ireland and the Garda were alerted and the scene around the post office was sealed off as part of the ongoing investigation.
