Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'

A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well".

Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance.

No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended.

They thanked the public for their help.

The Law Reform Commission (LRC) on Monday published its Consultation Paper on Civil Law Aspects of Missing Persons making 18 detailed provisional recommendations for reform of the law.

Garda Confirm Missing Mother And Daughter Found 'Safe And Well'
The search for a woman and her baby daughter has ended, with gardaí reporting they have been found "safe and well". An operation had been launched and an appeal for information issued for the whereabouts of 27-year-old Samantha McClorey and her three-month daughter Sienna Rose.

Translink Workers Reject Pay Offer
Translink NI workers have rejected a pay offer from the public transport company. Unite, GMB and SIPTU confirmed that their members has "decisively voted to reject as inadequate" a pay offer made by Translink management. Workers were offered a 5% pay increase and a non-consolidated one-off payment of £1,500 for the 2023-2024 financial year.
