Two Arrested In Connection With Crumlin Shooting

Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday night in Crumlin, Dublin.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday morning, with a second, 20-year-old man, arrested later in the afternoon.

Both men can be held for up to three days.

The teenager injured in the “drive-by” shooting was standing with a man outside a house on Lismore Road in Crumlin at about 9pm when a black saloon car pulled up and shots were fired.

The victim was standing with his back to the car and was hit in the back, head and ear.

His condition has been described as serious but stable.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Man Arrested And Firearm Seized
A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.

Man Arrested And Cocaine Seized In Crumlin
Gardaí in Dublin have recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €8,000 from a house in Crumlin. On Saturday, officers from the Divisional Drug Unit, supported by local gardaí, carried out a planned search of a property on Clonard Road at around 2pm. A man was arrested at the scene in connection with the drug seizure.
