One Dead In Co Limerick Crash
One person has died following a road traffic collision in Co Limerick.
At around 12.30pm on Wednesday (23 July) two cars collided on the N20 at Creggane, Co Limerick – two miles outside of Charleville.
The driver of one of the vehicles was seriously injured in the accident. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The body was taken to Midwestern Regional Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.
The driver of the other vehicle has been taken to Limerick Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, gardaí have said. There were no passengers in either car.
Anyone who witnessed the accident are asked to contact Bruff Garda station on 061 382940, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident in Castlebaldwin, Co Sligo. Ballymote garda are investigating a collision involving three vehicles and a pedestrian at about 11:40 on Thursday. A man in his 60's was fatally injured when he was struck by a vehicle as he was working on the roadside.

A man has been killed in a road traffic accident this morning which occurred at New Street, Killaloe. The car veered off the road and collided with a pole at approximately 9.30am. The 83-year-old male driver died at the scene and has been removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.
