Tipperary Car Crash Claims Life Of Young Motorist
A motorist in his early 20s has died after his vehicle and a truck collided on Tuesday, according to gardaí.
The incident occurred at Kilmastulla, Birdhill, Co Tipperary at 4.15pm.
The body of the dead man was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, where a post mortem examination will take place.
The driver of the truck was taken by ambulance to Nenagh General Hospital to be treated for shock. He escaped from the incident uninjured.
A Garda spokesman said: “The N7 road at the scene remains closed while gardaí carry out forensic crash scene examinations.”

Eight Arrested In Dundalk Murder Inquiry
Gardaí investigating the murder of Aidan Myers in Dundalk last year have arrested eight people. Six men and two women were arrested this morning. It is understood that four men, aged 19 and 26, are being questioned in relation to Mr Myers' murder, while two men and two women are being questioned on suspicion of withholding information.

Man Dies In Dublin Factory Incident
A man has died in an incident at a recycling plant in west Dublin. The incident happened around 5.30pm on Monday at the Merrywell Industrial Estate, near Clondalkin. It is understood that the man, who was in his 40s, was crushed by a truck. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A female pedestrian, aged in her 60s, died after she was struck by a truck on Duke Street at about 2.30pm on Wednesday, 13 February. Emergency services treated the woman at the scene but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
